How to add external links to a custom page

Sometimes it may be necessary to embed external pages into the application, which could be a document or a page from an external system, displayed in two ways: embedded or in a new page.

For example, in the application, you want to embed a document that is a link from an external system.

Name the page and select the page type as an external link.

Configuration​

  • Link

    Paste the external link into the input box, and it supports parameter passing for links.

  • Open with

    The link can be set to open in an embedded page or a new page.

    If it is embedded, the link must start with https, and the external link's site cannot be set to disable embedding.

  • Hide Title Bar

    If selected, it will hide the page's title bar when the link is embedded.

Click the page name to open a new page.

Possible Errors​

1. If it prompts to enter a correct URL​

  • The link must start with https or http.
  • There may be space at the beginning of the link.
  • If it is embedded, the link must start with https.

2. If it prompts that the connection is refused​

This is because the website being embedded has set to disable embedding.
