Super Search Engine - Quickly Search Across Platform
Overview
Super Search Engine (SSE) is the portal to quickly search content across the platform. You can search all apps, records, posts, tasks, files, groups and contacts in your organization. With Super Search Engine, you can quickly reach your target content.
For example, no matter which page you are on, enter and search for a customer name, you can get all the content related to this customer, such as his order record in the application Sales Management, or the bug feedback of this customer in the application Work Order, or you can see the groups, posts or tasks related to this customer.
Entrance/Shortcut Key
Press F to open the search box, or you can click the icon in the top navigation bar to start the search.
When the search box appears, you can enter the record name, colleague's name and other keywords to search. Modify the input words at any time and the result list will all be refreshed in time to help find your target.
Details Page of SSE
Click the [New Page] button on the right side of the search box (or press Enter when the input box is focused) to enter the detail page. In each module on the detail page, you can sort and filter the search results.
Search Scope and Results
Search results are presented as long as the keywords entered match content in the searchable scope. Search results are automatically filtered based on permissions and only content that the user has permission to view is displayed.
- Search method: Fuzzy search. The content in the searchable scope can be found as long as it contains the keywords.
- English letters are case-sensitive.
- It does not support split-word or multi-keyword search for now.
- Content in external collaboration applications cannot be searched (You can enter the application and search in the worksheets). Only the content of applications and records within the organization is supported to be searched.
Features of Record Searching
1. Search for record title only
In order to avoid a wide searching range and too many invalid search results, after entering keywords, search for only the title field in worksheets. If you need to search for other fields, you can uncheck it to expand the searching scope.
2. In an application to start SSE, only search the current application
If you are in an application to start SSE, only search the current application by default (application groups, worksheet names, and records), excluding other applications and modules (posts, tasks, and files). Click the [All] button to search for records of all applications and other modules. This is not available if you are searching in non-application pages.
3. Filter applications in the details page
In SSE details page, if the search results involve multiple applications, you can filter the application to view the results.
What is displayed in the result list
In the result list, the results from the same module are sorted by update time. Except for the update time, for different modules, different information is displayed.
