Line Chart
Features : In a line chart, the value of each item is marked with a dot in the chart and connected with a line. It not only shows the amount of data, but also clearly shows the trend.
The following is an example of how to create a line chart.
Example: In the worksheet Order Management, count the sales for each month of the year.
Data Range:
X-axis: Select the field [Date signed] .
Time Granularity: By month, that is, each month corresponds to a value (granularity is only required when the date field is selected for the X-axis).
Y-axis: The sum of the sales amount for each month.
Configuration Steps
1. Create a new chart
Enter the configuration page of the chart.
2. Set the data source - all records in the worksheet
Time range: [Date signed] (this year).
3. Select [Line Chart]
4. Set the X-axis
Select the field [Date signed] and set the time granularity to month.
5. Set the Y-axis
The sum of the sales amount.
6. Set the figure
"Line" and "Curve" is to display the line graph; "Area" is to display the area graph. Finally click [Save].
